“Nightingale College for Girls, Alwar” (formerly known as “National College for Girls”) is run by the National Academic Foundation (Registerd Society, Reg.No. S.N.247/Alwar/98-99) dated 30-10-1998). The aim of the Society was to establish a Girls’ College and it finally succeeded in setting up a college exclusively for girls in 2003. The college runs Under Graduate courses (UG) in Science, Arts and Commerce stream and Post Graduate (PG) courses in MA (Geography & English), M.Sc. (Mathematics & Chemistry). The college is affiliated to “Raj Rishi Bhartrihari Matsya University, Alwar”. The medium of instruction is both Hindi and English. With a brief span of time the college has started gaining reputation and accolades from far-flung areas of the state. The college is located in the lush green area of Alwar city of Rajasthan, around 160 km south of Delhi, and about 150 km north of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Alwar is part of National Capital Region (NCR). Our institute focuses on training the students in fulfilling their academic aspirations. The aim of the establishing society remains academic awareness and importance to girl education in the area of Alwar and its suburbs.
